GCIS INTELLIGENCE UPDATE: After being on the lam for more than five years, a Ukrainian nightclub Vaniamin Gonikman faces charges of traffickingowner will return to Detroit to face charges that he forced women from eastern Europe to work as strippers in metro Detroit clubs.

Veniamin Gonikman, 55, who was indicted in Detroit in 2005 but left the U.S. before being charged, was arrested at Kennedy International Airport, the federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency said Thursday.

He was arrested Wednesday in Ukraine, before being deported to the U.S. (read full report)
