Third Man Pleads Guilty to Federal Hate Crime Charge Related to Desecration of Synagogue and Churches in Modesto, California:

Andrew Kerber, 22, of Chico, California, pleaded guilty today to violating the civil rights of congregants of Congregation Beth Shalom, a synagogue in Modesto. According to court documents, in 2006, Kerber and two other men, Abel Mark Gonzalez, 23, and Brian Lewis, 23, defaced and damaged the synagogue.

Kerber admitted that the men spray-painted anti-Semitic and neo-Nazi graffiti on the synagogue's exterior walls. Kerber further admitted that the men spray-painted anti-Christian graffiti and caused other damage to Our Lady of Fatima Church and School and the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation, both located in Modesto. Iranian National Charged with Illegally Exporting Specialized Metals from U.S. to Iran:

Milad Jafari, a citizen and resident of Iran, has been indicted for illegally exporting and attempting to export specialized metals from the United States through companies in Turkey to several entities in Iran, including some entities that have been sanctioned for involvement in ballistic missile activities. "Jihad Jane" Pleads Guilty in Plot to Recruit Violent Jihadist Fighters, Commit Murder Overseas:

Colleen R. LaRose, aka "Jihad Jane," a U.S. citizen and former resident of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, pled guilty to all counts of a superseding indictment charging her with conspiracy to provide material support to terrorists, conspiracy to kill in a foreign country, making false statements, and attempted identity theft. FBI Offers Reward of up to $10,000 in Durham Fugitive Hunt
Federal Fugitive Warrant in Effect:

The FBI in Portland, Oregon is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the location and arrest of David Anthony Durham, 43, who is wanted in connection with the January 23 shooting of a Lincoln City police officer.

Durham is described as white, 6 feet 3 inches tall, weighing 160 to 185 pounds. He has blue eyes, long brown hair and was last seen wearing full green camouflage clothing, including a long-sleeved shirt, pants and tan or dark-colored boots. He was also seen wearing a dark-colored beret. (read full report)
