GCIS INTELLIGENCE UPDATE: Noshir S. Gowadia, 66, of Maui, Hawaii, was sentenced late yesterday to 32 years in prison for giving classified national defense information to China. A federal jury last summer found Gowadia, an engineer with Northrop Grumman Corporation from approximately 1968 to 1986, guilty of criminal offenses relating to his design, for China, of a system that would render a Chinese cruise missile resistant to detection by infrared missiles.
