The U.S. embassies in Bujumbura, in Burundi, and Kampala, in Uganda, issued near identical alerts to Americans on Tuesday. The warnings say that regional terror groups remain actively interested in attacking U.S. interests in Burundi and Uganda.

GCIS INTELLIGENCE UPDATE: The police have broken a ring of people who have been tricking 
Ugandan women under the guise of getting for them jobs in Malaysia but later forcing them into prostitution.
The Malaysian police rescued two of the seven trafficked women from brothels while two Ugandan men who allegedly connived with the brothel owners, were arrested in Kampala.
The women have been transported back to Uganda.
Detectives say there are several people engaged in the illicit trade including Nigerians, Ugandans, and Malaysians. (read full report)
